Regenerative Stem Cell Therapy

What is regenerative stem cell therapy?

Regenerative stem cell therapy uses stem cells to prevent and treat health conditions, disease and chronic pain. Bone marrow transplant is a commonly used therapy. At Physical Healthcare of Jacksonville, we use umbilical cord blood due to its high concentration of stem cells and because it’s less invasive for the patient. Regenerative stem cell therapy, also known as regenerative medicine, heals the body from within by delivering specific types of stem cells or cell products to diseased or damaged joints, ultimately restoring joint function.

How does regenerative stem cell therapy work?

Our regenerative stem cell therapy uses the healing potential of stem cells derived from placental tissue and umbilical cord blood. The placental tissue contains cytokines, growth factors and hydraulic acid and the cord blood is a rich source of nonimmunogenic stem cells. Over a few months, the stem cells and growth factors help your body repair and regrow cartilage, ligaments and joint tissue.

The procedure takes less than thirty minutes with minimal pain and is extremely safe and effective.

Listen to Big John’s incredible story
